Neighbourhood Watch Ku-ring-gai & Hornsby has a unique scheme for borrowing items that increase residents’ safety and security. Neighbourhood Watch groups started out in 1984 with a simple engraver tool. Since then our area has identified other needs in the community.
So why should I borrow from Neighbourhood Watch?
- Identify your house number on the kerb
- Stop cars blocking your driveway
- Mark your valuables
- Shred personal documents to prevent ID Theft
- Kids love the ‘Catch-a-Crim’ photo booth
- Kids love the police dress-ups
- A Neighbourhood Watch banner can be a deterrent
All of the items are available for pick-up from one of our volunteer’s homes. We will email you the volunteer’s details once you have made contact and are next on the list. We maintain a short list for some popular items. It is between you and the volunteer to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for pick-up.
Pay-it-forward
The following items are FREE to request. However, as a courtesy to future persons, we do welcome a ’pay-it-forward’’ contribution from those who can give to the community in this manner. Please see PAY-IT-FORWARD for more details.
Thank you for your support of Neighbourhood Watch Ku-ring-gai & Hornsby.
